there's a consignment clothing store in vancouver called front & co. which always has a wonderful window display. this time it's these intricate beautiful cakes. we were driving by yesterday and i just had to stop to take a picture. i thought they were real and then when i got closer saw that they were all made from paper.
thanks to red currant i linked onto this beautiful travelling journal - it is most inspirational and makes me want to get down to business with the 700 plus photos sitting in my iphoto. what a great eye and a must see!
created by and for people who like to change their mind. these surface graphics (think stickers for adults) are self-adhesive wall decals that allow you to easily transform your wall or whatever in minutes. plus they are cool looking. they even have words that can be custom made - perhaps a poem you would like to apply to your wall (that's how they all started).
nice shot taken somewhere in budapest according to good graffiti.org, a place to upload and share your graffiti pics. kind of a cool idea.
you can view by city, send a postcard, share photos and discuss "what is good graffiti" in the forum. i think i'll bookmark it and see how it goes.
