What Are You Looking Forward to at IDSwest?

Continuing with our series asking fellow IDSwest Ambassadors 'what they are looking forward to at this year's event', here is what Ema Peter (Photographer) and Kelly Deck (Designer) tell us:

"I am really looking forward to this year’s IDSwest because of how excited everyone is to collaborate and to elevate the level of design in Vancouver. I am really looking forward to following the design process of Andrea McLean for the first ever Bottega Prosecco Bar in North America. The design is inspired by the beach shelters at Lighthouse park in Point Roberts. I am also excited to see Shed, the garden bar designed by Falken Reynolds Interiors. I love their style and cannot wait to see the final design. It will truly be an inspiring show."

What I'm most looking forward to this year at IDSWEST is celebrating the atmosphere of collaboration that's infused our design community over the past few years in Vancouver.

In terms of features I can't wait to see The Brooklyn Exchange - an exhibition curated by one of my favourite studios: Port and Quarter featuring works by Brooklyn based craftsmen and designers - I've admired the work coming out of Brooklyn for the past five years and I think it's very exciting that it's coming to our city.
