National Student Industrial Design Show
And my favourite part of the event or coinciding with it is a student exhibition, the National Student Industrial Design Show. The ACID's first national student exhibition features the ‘best of the best’ final thesis 2011 student industrial design work as identified by regional Professional Members of ACID: the Association of Registered Industrial Designers of Ontario [ACID-O], l’Association des designer Industriels du Québec [ADIQ], and the British Columbia Industrial Designers Association [BCID], as well as participating schools of industrial design in the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. The student show's opening night is February 23 (8-10 pm) and runs through to March 3, 2012. Concourse Gallery, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, 1399 Johnson Street. Granville Island, Vancouver, British Columbia. More info here.
