This week I posted some adorable tin robots in cloche glass bell jars, and since then I've come across several stunning winter-themed cloche bell jar ideas. They have a sort of snow globe vibe to them, especially these ones (above) from Marie Claire Idées (November 2011). Love the mini styrofoam balls clinging to the inside of the jars to give it that snow globe feel. And you can do it on the cheap too –from thrifted dome clocks (clocks removed) as Bethany shows us on her blog here; paint the bottom part white and voila, instant cloche! For inspiration, check out my Cloche Bell Jar post at Family Style where I've posted new ideas from December's Livingetc, more from Marie Claire Idées and Country Living. Have a great weekend!

I love that the snow is sticking to the sides! I make little scenes under a cloche, but am excited to try the styrofoam snow this year! Thank you for sharing.

Marie Claire Idees is always inspiring! And those snow ball feel like christmas.
Thanks for sharing.
Love things trapped happily in cloches! I did this with a group of mini deer last year, but I did not have those fantastic styro balls, which make the whole thing! Your babble posts are great Jan!
Thanks for the link love to my blog! I started getting random comments and managed to backtrack it to this cute post. Love the little snowglobes with the static-y styrofoam balls. I may have to revamp mine for the holidays.
