I love this idea as a gift. Remember Matt and Julie of Tiger in a Jar? (They made that beautiful Bake a Beet Cake video we posted about a few weeks back). Recently they posted about a picnic basket they received as a wedding gift from a friend of theirs who creates the most amazing gifts. I've made the hard decision to part with most of my collection of picnic baskets, so they will be going into my Etsy shop, but a special one is going to be set aside outfitted for those emergency picnics.
