A local school here created this anti-bullying flashmob last month in a local mall with the right message - just in time for Pink Shirt Day tomorrow, February 23, 2011. The song's so perfect for it too right?

Aw, this got me all teary. I feel so smushy right now! What a great way to start off the day...thanks!
really made me smile that did, thankyou (^_^) i left school 4 years early because of bullying & 10 years on the effects are still there. It's nice to see so many young people doing something possitive about this =)
xx
Jennifer - i know, i felt that way too when i first saw it.
Chloe - so sorry to hear that happened to you, school can be so cruel and if we only knew then what we know now.
Thanks for posting this! You have great timing. In my Health for Educators class this week we are studying bullying. This is very relevant, and I LOVE that all those dancers are students! Very inspiring. The little kids in the middle at the end made me happy.
This is fantastic! I teach in a middle school in Calgary, and in our school, we have video announcements, which I'm in charge of. When I'm putting them together this morning, I'm going to put that video on, and encourage kids to wear pink shirts tomorrow! Thanks!!
Just shows how communication and marketing can be exciting and empowering. Well done!!.
So cute! Loved how they seemed to keep multiplying! And great song, of course.
Glad to see I wasn't the only one to get teary. This is so beautiful. I'm so glad you decided to share it. I love flashmobs!
I love this and for some reason it brought me to tears, serious running down my face tears? Thanks for sharing.
it made me teary too!
thanks for sharing jan - it warmed my heart
xx
i love these flash things...they always make me cry and especially when there is a message and especially one as important as anti bullying campaigns. our council man here in fort worth, tx, joel burns did an amazing speech at the local council meeting which got noticed by ellen degeneres.
question - since this is yours, how do i spread the word to something like my facebook page or my own itty bitty blog?
i hope to hear from you.
Hi Ann,
This isn't my video, and is embedable by anyone, just click on the YouTube button and you can get the code there to embed on your own site or link if you wish.
this is so inspiring. totally made me tear up, too. thanks for sharing, jan, i'm going to pass it along too.
It's so embarrassing to be all blubbery in my cube at work but what a fabulous reason. Love this flash mob and that song IS perfect. Who is it?
This gave me chills!! So happy and inspiring and it just feels so good to know that kids are trying to spread that great message. :)
