Polaroids are incredibly beauty.
And about the questions:
1.- When I was I child I think I wanted to become teacher or something like that.
2.- Now, I just want to feel happy with what I do. Just feel ok.

When I was a child I dreamed of living an independent life with absolutely no domesticity, no ties, and being able to do exactly as i want.
Now I'm an adult, I dream of having a little house by the sea, with a family and lots of children running around.
Heh - life's strange!

As a kid I dreamed (and pretty much was certain) that I would be a singer and grow to be 7ft tall...
Now I dream of songs and stories and I write them down when I wake up in the morning.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a ropedancer or a teacher. Now I am becoming a teacher - and life is rope dance every day :-)
Now I dream of living a life of fulfillment: with a job I love, people I love, my boyfriend, loads of creativity and art. I dream of living the life I live, with a little less struggling.
I am a happy person.
Hugs, Ellen
hello, I love the photos... they are so close to my mood right now...
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? a teacher but before a fish and chips owner (age 3)
No. 2: What do you dream of now? to have financial freedom to rise my child with no stress
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? The President or a Nun
No. 2: What do you dream of now?
maintaining the happy in my life.
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming an airline pilot. I held that dream for years, until a high school guidance counselor told me that I couldn't do that because I didn't have perfect vision. Dream died. I found out many years later that he was wrong.
Now I dream of shutting out the voices and continuing to become what's already inside, waiting for opportunity. And I'm looking forward to the process of becoming for the rest of my life.
And these prints... these prints are stunning.
1. As a very young child I simply wanted to work in a pet store. As I grew up a little I dreamed of vet school.
2. I now dream of being wealthy enough to own a estate big enough to surround myself with every single pet I wish to rescue!
when I was a child I dreamed of becoming an arctic dog musher, funny, as I grew up in the hot humid Philippines!
As an adult, mushing still takes me far away in my imagination: http://hannahhaworth.com/blog/gallery/the-hunt/
My newest dream is to create a beluga whale to go exploring on....
As a child I dreamed of being a psychiatrist. Now I dream of not needing one.
I wanted to go to 'drawing school'...I was creating all the time and had so much fun with it.
Then I actually went and became an illustrator.
I now dream of that ease and fun I had while drawing as a kid. No self-criticism, or deadlines. I love what i do, but I lost the relaxation it gave me when I was five.
These are such lovely prints.
When I was a kid I actually believed that I would join a circus and be a contortionist!
Now I simply hope to continue to survive off of my creative pursuits.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? A veterinarian because my dad told me all artists "starve"
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Designing a custom pair of Chuck Taylors (because I think you've really made it when a big shoe company asks you to decorate one of their pairs)
As a child, I dreamed of being a paleontologist. I never owned a Barbie, only plastic dinosaurs.
Now I dream of becoming a mother soon and inspiring my children to follow their dreams.
No. 1: I dreamt of becoming a veterinarian or a ballerina.
No. 2: I dream of finding my niche in life, and being able to follow my interests/hobbies to potentially make a career out of them.
when I was a kid I want to be a doctor, just because everyone said they wanted to be a doctor :P
and now I really want to be a traditional dancer (to save my cultures) or a wedding photographer.
As a Child.... Teacher, Archeologist, Interior Designer, Architect.... Today I'm Math Prof
Now I dream of starting a family
no 1- I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian
No 2- i dream for financial security, happiness and a family
1) beeing a princess
2) living in a my little castle, with a garden full of lovely flowers.
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming one of Charlie's Angels.
Today I dream of opening up a kick-ass allergy-free bakery where I can happily spend my days whipping up yummy treats that everyone, including my food-allergic child, will love!
As a child? an otter.
Now? sleeping in comfy bed with ancient down pillows and a sea breeze coming through the windows rustling the curtains
When I was four I dreamed that when I grew up I would be either the sun or a cat. We have a picture that I drew at school that says "I WILL BE" on top and there's a scrawly picture of a happy sunshine face and a happy cat face. I honestly thought these were tangible things I could someday be. Sadly, I'm still not a cat or the sun (yet), but now I'm dreaming of the day when my boyfriend and I can go on a long, romantic vacation, hopefully to Europe and the Mediterranean. Right now I'm paying cash for school and we're saving for a house, but someday! Someday we'll go somewhere nice.
1. when i was a kid i wanted to be a comedienne when i grew up (and i used to say it in a pee wee herman voice)
2. now i just want to be the best mom ever. i think i can use my humor to do that! :)

2. right now, after finding the love of my life, i dream about creating, designing, and photographing the world with him!
As a child I wanted to be an architect like my uncle. Then I found out how much math it required : ( Now I dream of the day my husband and I can travel back to Italy.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child?
Oddly enough, I dreamed of becoming a ventriloquist. No lie.
The weird part (as if that wasn’t weird enough) was that my grade 8 aptitude test, which is supposed to outline your strengths and tell you what career field to go into, told me I should be a clown or ventriloquist… my parents were proud.
No. 2: What do you dream of now?
Thankfully that dream fizzled out when I came to my senses. Now I dream that my little folk/rock band (The Gnomes) earns me enough money so that I may quit my day job and stay home to become a full-time dog rescuer and organic gardener.
I had to stop and think for a minute about what I dreamt of as a child. And, what I remember is wanting to be different because I was Hispanic. I dreamed of being like everyone else.
Now, what I dream of is a making sure I teach my daughter to embrace who she is, and that being different is what makes us all unique and makes this world a beautiful place.
No.1: I distinctly remember being in the living room with my grandma and telling her that in my spare time as the first woman president I will also be an artistic, a dancer, and a figure skater. Cool thing is she only supported it and told me that she hoped I could fit it all in!
No.2: What do I dream of now? I hope that my life will always be full of challenges and that I have the support and love I need to overcome them. I will soon be applying to be an inner city school teacher in Chicago and one day I'll finish my application to the Peace Corp. What can I say? I also dream that when I get significantly aged I'll be looking at the same man I'm in love with now both of us full of wrinkles all in the right places.
X, Becca
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? I dreamed of being a teacher. I so wanted to stand up in front of a classroom and use a chalkboard! I even had an overhead that I practiced on--well I made one using a mirror!!
No. 2: What do you dream of now? I dream of being a mom. I think I'm finally ready now. I can only imagine how much joy having children will bring to my life. I'm sure it's the most amazing gift.
When I was younger, I dreamed of being a writer (or a garbage-woman, when I was being spiteful towards my mom). I dreamed of being creative and of moving to the city.
Now, I'm living my dream of being a graphic designer in New York, fresh out of college from Penn State's class of 2010. I dream of making an impact with my creativity, of traveling, of being a hard worker but also someone who knows when to concentrate on love and life. Some day I might want a daughter, but for right now, my boyfriend and cat are all I need (oh, and a good book)!
as a child I dreamt of living my dreams (as an artist)
As an adult I dream of living this now with deeper consciousness so I remember my inner voice and dreams (being an artist)
I was one ambitios toddler, I dreamed of being the best doctor ever, win a Nobel, being a lovely wife and having eight or nine children. I would be an international personage loved and admired, and obviously, wealthy enough to feed Africa for a year or two.
All I want in the world now is to be a sassy mermaid and travel the oceans to dance to every tune the world has to offer.
True story. When did the mature kiddie became such a spoiled adult? College ;)
As a child I thought I would be the next Joni Mitchell because I love to sing.
Now I would like to be a writer.
xo
Plantress
I used to dream of being a princess. Now I dream of being a child again, but knowing what i know now.
As a child, I wanted desperately to be part of the Babysitter's Club. Those girls had amazing adventures - and made money doing it! When I realized that wasn't a possibility (fictitious characters and all), my dream was to help Anne M. Martin write great stories for them.
Now my dreams are to have a beautiful wedding (that's a short-term goal - 7.10.10) and build a warm, cozy home with my new husband!
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? As a child, I dreamed of many things. Mainly, however, I dreamed of becoming a chef. Simply because I love eating, I watching food get prepared right before your eyes. Food is beautiful to watch form.
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Now, I dream of becoming an audio producer with my college degrees. To spend my day to day life with people that can make me smile or cry with their music would be a pleasure. It would be a great pleasure to know that I am responsible for evoking emotions within people.
When I was very young I dreamed of quite grandiose things. I wanted to be a heart surgeon, a zoologist, and a shark specialist to name a few of those things. Now, I just want to be loved & happy. And I am both - in spades !
1. As a child I dreamed of being a brain surgeon because my initials are MMD and that would make them MMD MD.
2. Now I dream of becoming an upholsterer and creating a fair wage labour workshop, among other things.
I was an ambitious child. I wanted to be a marine biologist, an astronaut, an Egyptologist, an archeologist....this list could go on and on for forever. When I got into my teenage years, archeologist was still on the list, but I added cardiologist & art historian. I went to university for graphic design, art history & Italian. Now I'm trying to figure out exactly how to incorporate the three...I do hope that owning a stationery shop & being a design critic are in my future though...& if I could travel to Italy a lot too, that would be a big plus. So I guess you could say that's what I dream of now.
Culinary school was in there somewhere as a back up plan, but since the boyfriend is covering that area for me, I've since dropped that. Plus, I like to cook for fun...I don't know if I could do it in a high pressure situation.
1.As a child I wanted to be an artist. I had always received praise for my drawings since kindergarten. I also dreamt of being Pippi Longstocking.
2.Now I dream of developping a small business, being a mom and building our dream house with my husband.
1. as a child I did not dream of becoming someone, I dream so doing some things: travel around the world, help people in need, make art and live free...
2. now is a little bit the same. I want to be a good person for my newborn girl and try to show around the beauty in simple things of everyday life.
When I was a child, I wanted to be an actress. But early on, I realized that you have to fit a certain ideal in order to be really successful at it, so I changed my mind.
Now that I'm an "adult", I want to own an online store that sells handmade goods, some of those goods being my own crafts that I sell.
#1. As a kid I wanted to be a candy tester!
#2. Pretty much the same now. Is that possible? :)

1. when i was really young i wanted to be an explorer. one of my great disappointments was learning that much of the world had already been discovered.
2. i dream about having kids with my wonderful husband and dragging our kids all over the world on adventures with backpacks and a camera.
1. as a child i wanted to be anything with status and prestige. at one point my plan was to have a job for every day of the week. i'd be a successful doctor, lawyer, interior designer, hairdresser, author...
2. now i dream of being a good mother and wife. i want nothing more than success and happiness in my home.
1. as a little girl, i dreamed of being a ballerina, a chemist, and a singer.
2. as a young woman, i believe in some ways i have achieved these dreams: i'm not a professional ballerina, but i dance with abandon whenever i can. i'm not a chemist, but all my life (so far) i've studied the elements of this world and how they come together. and i'm not a famous musician (yet!) but i have a song in my heart that all who listen may hear. my dream now is only to continue to grow in these practices and thus grow in joy and love.
1: I dreamed as a kid of being an artist and a mommy.
2: Now that my dream came true and I AM an artist and a mommy, I dream of being a better artist and a really good mommy!
As a child I dreamed of becoming a chef.
As a chef I dream of retirement!
oh, those are so lovely.
i used to dream of being the Little Mermaid. and now i dream, daydream, constantly of traveling (france, india, china, peru...everywhere). so maybe i still have a little bit of the little mermaid in me - wanting to see the great unknown with her own two feet!
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? A nun (Catholic school programming did not work, however)
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Making enough money to make it my full-time gig. That would be heaven.
When I was a kid I wanted to be so many things- a ballerina, a doctor, a journalist, a politician, an artist.
Although my focused has changed, there is still so much I want to do. I want to be a fabulous librarian which these days often means being a great advocate and instructor.
While I love my job I also dream of doing other things like becoming a photographer, doing something creative, getting my PhD and opening my own business. I continue to dream big. I guess some things never change
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? An archeologist, zoologist and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Having a wonderful family and enjoying each day.
The photos captured the essence of hope … that little voice that always reminds you that good will prevail, that somebody does love you and that the world is a beautiful place. Thank you for sharing!
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? I wanted to be an explorer, searching the world for waterfalls and lay by each one listening to its heartbeat.
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Lazy days spent listening to the ocean as it collides with rocky cliffs and taking in the silence as the fog wraps around the rocks… I’m still in love with the sound of water!

What you dreamed of becoming as a child?: I wanted to be a marine biologist, zoologist, and a teacher. Basically, I wanted to work on saving endangered species and give young adults hope and knowledge. (I was a little too idealistic as a kid.)
What do you dream of now?: I dream of being the kind of happy that makes you excited to wake up every morning (and I'm getting there), and making things and sharing them and my thoughts whenever I can, again, in hopes of bettering the world in small ways (I am still a little too idealistic as an adult).
As a child, my dream was to become a "stewardess" (before the term flight attendant became the correct term.) I even remember the drawing I did of a girl in a blue suit and hat.
Now, I still dream of travel to beautiful and exotic places.
i've never been very reasonable. when i was very young i wanted to be a bird when i grew up. who wouldn't, really? specifically i wanted to be a crow.
the past few months i've had a recurring dream of swimming - with friends, alone, with animals, in lakes and rivers. i always wake up happier after swimming all night.
I'm loving reading all of these!
When little:
I longed to be an Artist
now big:
I long to be an Artist...
Great polaroid prints.
When I was younger I wanted to do everything. I wanted to act, sing, writing, photography and design. I didn't believe there was a limit to what I could do. I still would like to do everything that I enjoy doing to this very day. I am constantly told that I should narrow down my list and do only one thing realistically but I refuse to just settle and do what everyone thinks I should do. I am still taking photos, designing and writing several things and am working a normal job to fund all my passions. It will all work out in the end.
AS a child I dreamed of being an author.
Now, I dream about summer and gardens and free time.
When I was a child I dreamed of playing baseball for the Dodgers.
Now, I dream about being able to throw a baseball.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? A QVC Host. I even made home movies. Yep. That happened.
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Being a woman full of wisdom.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child?
As a child in rural Minnesota: Moving to New York to become a photographer.
No. 2: What do you dream of now?
As an adult in New York working in the photo industry: Moving back home to be with my family and start one of my own.
When i was a child, i dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. (flunking chem in high school put an end to that so instead, i visit the vet with my 3 dogs and 2 cats!)
Now i dream of having a beach house at the coast. (may not happen for a while since I'm a self-employed graphic designer but it's a great dream that one day could come true!)
As a child I dreamed of being older, as I am now older I dream of being a child again.
When I ws a child I alwasy wanted to be a mommy and an artist, and I raised 4 children and I have alwasy been an artist. The problem is that I wanted to be a full time artist and never quite made it. I was an excelent mommy though, at least my all of my seven siblings said I did it best... look what I have created... a chef, and two artists, all happy in what they do in life. That is/was my goal.
Today I dream of being able to make a living off my art within the next 5 years and having more time to be a country Grandma... oh and more room for my craft. More time to garden orgainically and more time to work on keeping our planet green. I do a lot in this area, but we all can do more always.
Gorgeous pics.
Here's my answers:
1. For some bizare reason, I desperately wanted to be in the Guinness Book of Records.
2. Now I want to change a little bit of the world by opening a school
Thanks for the post!
Caro
As a child I wanted to become: a teacher who makes a lot more jokes than my own teachers did, a person butterflies love to sit on so I could really touch them, a bird that would sit on my shoulder when walking to school, and that a lot more things in the world would be pink coloured.
Nowadays I am a teacher of whom children say: " You always smile, don't you?", there have been butterflies sitting on me and I have helped to raise some babybirds who fell out of their nest. I discovered that life is as pink as you want it to be. The dream that I have now is to be more confident in myself and strat my own creative little shop so I can spread my childdreams over the world.
When I was a child I loved stories. I wanted to be a storyteller like Danny Kay and Garrison Keilor, and take people on wonderful journeys.
Now I as an adult I aspire to be a lighting designer for theater. It doesn't seem related, but I have the power to transport people into a story with a little change of light.
A world with out stories is an empty one.
Beautiful series of photographs!
1. As a child I dreamed of being a veterinarian or an ocean researcher.
2. As an adult I dream of having all the time in the world to bake and play in my garden, and still of becoming an ocean researcher.
As a child, I dreamed of being an Olympic gymnast, a la Shannon Miller.
Now I dream about the great adventures I will have, the delicious food I will eat, and the love I will spend my life with.
1. veterinarian
2. a world traveler
Wow- lovely prints and I've loved reading everyone's dreams as kids and now.
Let's see- I have early memories in Kindergarten of wanting to be a good artist. I was also pretty good at pretending to be a mom to my dolls and a teacher to my sister.
Now my dream is to be a better artist and a great mom to my boys. And to eventually go back to school and do my Masters so I can teach at an art school.
#1: I always wanted to be a professional working woman...a doctor or lawyer.
#2: I want to be a Mom.
As I child, I dreamed of becoming a grown-up so that I could be "the boss." Now that I'm an adult and have the freedom to do as I choose, I dream of nothing more than to be childlike, with a sense of wonder and adventure.
What you dreamed of becoming as a child?
When I was a child I dreamed my dreams will come true.
What do you dream of now?
Now I dream to go on dreaming.
Nice pictures.
As a kid I dream about being Superman (not supergirl) I wanted to fly and help people.

1. As a child, I dreamed of skating in the Ice Capades, despite being incredibly clumsy.
2. Now, when I am asleep, I dream of swimming with killer whales, but awake I dream of being a mother.
What I dreamed of becoming as a child was an archeologist/writer/artist combo. Also, I dreamed of being smart enough that scientists would dissect my brain for science (like Einstein! My childhood hero).
Now I dream of finding a means to support myself with my artistic skills, and not having to work any more micro-managed, minimum wage, soul-sucking jobs. Also, I dream of not waking up at 4AM to go to work. ;)
But that dream is getting closer everyday as I build my business..
www.TheAmberDawn.com
As I young child, my goal in life was to open an office supply store. You might find this odd, but the office supply store had the best marker varieties-- you could even make your own 10 pack of marker colors out of the rainbow. This was perfect as a child.
Then when i grew a little older, I decided I wanted to open a business with three levels. In the basement would be a roller rink, on the main floor would be a thrift store, and on the third level, a radio station (playing all of my favorite music, of course). And, as a teenager in a small town, this would be open 24 hours a day for the bored teenagers. If you made a purchase from the thrift store, you could also make a song request.
Now? I dream of not working 8-5. I dream of traveling and never settling down. (I often day dream of this while working my 8-5 job, too... sigh.)
When I was a child I dreamed of being a marine biologist because I loved ocean creatures and was obsessed with whales and dolphins.
To this day I still dream of being a a marine biologist or working with animals of the sea. I never fulfilled that dream and that's why to this day I love going to aquariums and can spend hours there.
No. 1: As a child, I dreamed of becoming a cowgirl who wore red cowgirl boots.
No. 2: Now, I dream of (and am actively working on) becoming a freelance installation artist who is able to share her sense of the world through mixed media installations, music, writing, and overall sensory explosion. It is going to happen. I can't wait.

1. I wanted to be the first woman in space. I was heart broken when I read that a Russian woman had already beat me to it about 20 years before.
2. Right now, I want to create beautiful works of art and to be happy making them.
I love Andrea's prints! And getting a double dose of her art on this blog and her own blog is the best!
When I was a child I dreamt of becoming a famous actress who would make an impact on people's lives by the stories she told.
Now, I dream of becoming that child again, the one who believed in her dreams.
1. I wanted to be a mother, and be just like my mother.
2. To be a mother, and be just like my mother.
I know it sounds silly, but I think being a mother is one of the most amazing, most beautiful things a woman can be. And my mother was and is beautiful and I want nothing more than to be just like her.

#1 As a child I dreamed of becoming a Lawyer who lived in New York so I could argue with others and carry a briefcase. Inside my briefcase would be my costume for when I was on Broadway each night.
#2 Now I dream of spending time taking photographs (my polaroid wall has stopped growing with my lack of film) and living on a house on the beach or simply just on the beach. Sharing music with others and enjoying sunshine adventures.
1. Being a writer!
2. Finding the perfect home to nest in...
Becoming an artist.
Creating art.
Answer #1: I wanted to be a flower and dance all day in the sun and I carried a plastic 35mm camera around. Though there was never any film in that little camera, it became my picture box for images I never wanted to forget.
Answer #2: I am a flower, I do dance all day in the sun, and I still carry a camera with me every where I go to capture those moments I call "Eye Candy" or things I never want to forget. I dream of someday showing the way I see the world through my photography and igniting inspiration in at least one person.
Andrea Jenkins work is what I consider "Soul Candy".

It was either an actress who spent her spare time as a palentology/ private investigator or a writer who spent her spare time as a private investigator/ archeologist.
No. 2: What do you dream of now?
Either one of those sound pretty awesome to me still, LOL.
I had a lovely childhood but was always anxious about people who weren't as lucky. Realise this sounds terribly precious but I used to worry so much about people who were cold or sad or lonely. I wanted to be someone who could help them when I grew up.
Now that I'm all grown up, I still worry about others but I let myself dream of Finnish summers and big kitchen tables and the perfect polka dot dress.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist.
Now I am a photographer and adult, and I dream of making a living from what I really love to do.
So I guess my dreams haven't really changed- just evolved.
A doctor, a good jumper and a baby elephant.
Now I dream of writing and illustration a series of children's books. Also helping to run an arts supplies/gallery/cafe.
Then: An airforce pilot

Oh I love them! Makes my heart happy :)
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a vet, a teacher, a psychologist, a dancer. I dreamed of being happy and popular and (skinny).
Now I dream of making a living doing something I love that fulfills me. And I'd still rather do while being happy. But popular and (skinny) have fallen away in favour of loving and being loved, and being healthy and at peace.
I <3 Andrea's pictures - thanks for this contest!
I wanted to be a ballerina. The first ballet I saw was a college production of the Little Match Girl. People cried at the end- *I* probably cried at the end- and I was struck by how a performance could touch people so much.
Now, I want to be a photographer, & that would make me happy. Really, though, I want to grow up to truly appreciate life and to do good things and generally be awesome. How I get there doesn't matter, so long as it's wonderful. :)
1. an artist
2. a mermaid
yes, you read the order right
I wanted to be a librarian. Mostly because they got to use the laser pens to scan the barcodes (Sadly, they no longer have these. Well they don't at my local library, anyway.) Then, I switched to wanting to be a vet for a short time, until my dog got hit by a car (he was okay, but had to have scary surgery on his eyeball!) and then I wanted to be a teacher. I think that stemmed from my mom, who is the most incredible teacher I've ever known. And now, I'm going to college to become a teacher — second grade, to be specific. Although first would be pretty neat, too.
As a child I dreamt of being rich and famous.
As an adult I dream of living a simple life, with some chooks, some crafting, growing my own food and baking with my family.
No. 1 - When I was a child I wanted to be a queen's maid during Medieval times.

As a child: to be in a Broadway show.
As an adult: to be on Glee! (I sing with my girls all the time - better than Broadway, right?)
As a child I dreamed of writing for Rolling Stone magazine. No word of a lie, this dream started when I was about eight years old. I eventually became a music journalist, though not for Rolling Stone.
Now, I guess I still want to write for Rolling Stone. Or at the very least, etch out enough silent time to read an issue of Rolling Stone.
number 1:when I was a child I dreamed of living my life as an important bit of the world - not where I could necessarily be seen by others, but where I could love and be loved - There was a time in primary school when I was very impressed by the story of a woman doctor who was killed in Africa and was buried in our thousand-years-old cathedral. I tried to wear my granny's beautiful green silk shawl as a veil and dreamed I could go to Africa and give my contribution to the world. Or, depending on the mood of the day, I wanted to be a storyteller, a giant, a ballerina, a horse-whisperer (though I rode a horse only three times in my life).
At the end of primary school, I just wanted to have the heart of a poet.
number 2:I still hope to be a storyteller, and to leave the world a mark of love, and pay a daily tribute to beauty, even when it's painful. My childhood dream has come true, because I was given the heart of a poet, but my dream, about 20 yrs later, is to keep faithful to the seed that was planted in my heart as a child, and find the world more and more places to let dreams put roots in the ground. In the meanwhile, I plant white flowers on my balcony.
Thanks for planting on your site so much beauty- its seeds are here, overseas too.
These prints are really beautiful, and I would like to show them to all the kids I teach to, because we live in the country of beauty and so many times forget to use the eyes of love to look at the world. Your prints use the eyes of love
gratefully from europe

No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? At age four, I wanted to be an "apple picker" (seriously, I drew a picture of myself wearing a tutu, climbing an apple tree, with snow in the background, for an art project about what you want to be when you grow up). Later in my youth, I wanted to be a pediatrician.
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Now, I dream of two things, if that's not too greedy. I dream of getting my doctorate in psychology (just two years left)and having a fulfilling career there, and I also dream of being a wonderful wife, mother, and friend.

art asks a question. design answers a question.
1: When I was in preschool I wanted three things: to work at AGT (the government telephone company) just like my Auntie Carol, to own a little red car, and to live in a house.
2: On the surface, I chuckle when I think of the simplicity and absurdity of those aspirations, but at their roots I still dream of the same things: being an independent woman with a career, finishing the restoration of my little dream car, and living in a space that feels like home.
1. perfect.
2. happy.
As a child I dreamed of seeing the world.. of meeting people from other walks of life and experiencing their reality..

2. years later, i am still forging my own path, with dreams of scientific publications, and art galleries, and a blue-eyed merle puppy somewhere in there.....
When I was younger and all the way through school actually, I dreamed of being a writer. The dream would change shape and form occasionally (author to journalist and back again) but it remained constant. I never realized that dream to a great extent.
Now I dream of discovering the perfect way to help my autistic son. I dream of that magical formula that will help him cope with the outside world and make him happy. I dream that for all of my children but for him alone I keep that candle lit in my heart.

now i dream of getting a job again. because this means that i can stay with the man i love in this wonderful city. living the life we wanted to live. because this is the dream i've never had.
In all honesty, I didn't think/dream of the future much as a child. Each day was just too good to think about the next one quite yet.
Today, I dream of getting back to that way of living each day.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child? I dreamed of becoming a doctor--helping other people, drowning in busy-ness and work, guarding myself from relationships.
No. 2: What do you dream of now? Finding my own creativity, my voice, my eye, and holding all of my relationships close with no holds barred.
As a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist or a veterinarian. But, my dad told me that you can't make any money as an artist, and that only boys can become veterinarians. I believed him.
Now, I dream that everyone I've supported and encouraged to pursue their dreams and desires is deliriously happy for having done so. Including me.
I dreamed of being an artist despite what everyone said.
Now the dream is true.
Today I dream of traveling and that my children will attain their dreams.
As a child I dreamed of becoming so many things - an athelete, an astronaut, an archeologist, but my mind was constantly changing. I guess I really never realized I would grow old enough to HAVE to become anything. Even into my teenage years I really never knew what I wanted to become, I was searching for myself and allowing people to tell me not to do this, or to become that. I realized in High school I loved art so I pursued it until I allowed myself to be convinced not to go to school for it. It took me many years of learning the lesson that I should have learned as a child - be WHO you are. That is authenticity, not fakery. And just so you know I am an artistic photographer. And I realized that I was one in the last 4 years (I'm 34).
NOW I dream of week long photography trips to NYC. Of month long leaves of absence from my workplace and taking that long to tour my home state of West Virginia and of the state I reside in currently, North Carolina. I dream of book deals, photography shows, having photographs in Our State Magazine and Wild and Wonderful Magazine. I dream of FINALLY getting to accomplish my pet project - taking small inexpensive digital cameras to schools and seeing what grade school children see in their world - and making a possibly documentary project out of it. I dream of quitting my "night job" in a cardboard box plant to just be able to travel this country of ours and do nothing but photograph anything that I find of interest.
when i was younger i wanted to be a photographer for national geographic.
today, i dream of using my heart for people and my love of photography to fight social injustices and make meaningful and lasting impact on the world.
I love these prints! The questions you asked to enter in the giveaway are fun and I enjoyed reading the answers above. They got me wonder how life changes us and our priorities. When I was a kid I dreamed of becoming a florist and now, I want to travel the world and experience different cultures. How did this happen? But, I'm glad it did.
These are beautiful.
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a teacher or a writer.
Now I still dream of being a writer -- and I am, 'tho not the kind of writing I thought I'd be doing -- and of sleeping. (We have two kiddies under three.)

At seventeen, I'd like to believe that I'm still a child. The dreams that I once had still live on, influencing the decisions I make on a day to day basis. But, for the sake of the two separate questions, I'll arrange my words differently.
I was a creative child. HGTV since age three. At first, I just wanted to be an artist, with an easel and paints. As I got older, I realized that being an artist was not solely the art of painting. I understood that so many more things could be considered art than just paintings, photographs, and sculptures. When I was a child, I wanted to be a creator. Leaving my mark however I pleased.
Like I said earlier, I'm still a kid. Just seventeen. But my area of "art" has dwindled down to photography. I want to be a fine art photographer, and also be fluent in Spanish.
I know that for me, art blogs have always been a way for me to relax. I want to be able to create an image that can make others feel. Really, really feel.
1. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an ice-skater that created pictures of flowers on the rink with my skates.
2. Today, I dream of traveling the world.
As a child, I dreamed of being a banker. (Seriously! It's cause i wanted to be like my dad.)
Now, I dream of traveling the world with the freedom to do what i want and not having to worry about money.
No. 1: What you dreamed of becoming as a child?
I wanted to be a model because I was fascinated by the pretty dresses.
No. 2: What do you dream of now?
Today I dream of a clean house, a big back yard, and overseas vacations.
As a child I wanted to be a veterinarian. I would read about James Herriot (James Alfred Wight) and his experiences as a country vet, which is exactly what I wanted to be.
Now I want to become a master baker and produce great breads and cupcakes and desserts.
1. A pop star
2. A holiday!
As a kid I dreamed of being a glacier researcher (though I didn't know the name for it at the time) because I thought it would be cool to climb in the cracks in the ice and see what magical and undiscovered world might exist there.
Now I dream of getting my PhD so that I can continue studying teeny weeny alpine cushion plants.
Growing up i wanted to be a vegetarian veterinarian during the day, and an artists at night. :D
Now...i'm smarter to know there is no way i could be a Dr. of any sorts, so i'm a artists day and night. :D And hope to open a gallery one day!
[[with a few jobs to support me in the mean time.]]
Thanks so much!
Smiles,
Jenipher
