I have a place in my heart for this book and all the work of Maurice Sendak as well!
My daughter and I LOVE this book. We have had the soundtrack on heavy rotation this week in preparation for the film!
Love the book and headed to the movie today. Can't wait!
taking my little guy to see the movie this afternoon. i may be more excited about it than he is!
This book is one of my most poignant childhood memories. I love it and my kids do too!! Can't wait to see what they did with the movie. Great pieces here!

yes soft spot here! We just picked up a copy of the book for our son yesterday and I want to take him ti the movie but I think he is too little, almost 4.
katesy.etsy.com makes a BRILLIANT costumer. Really amazing quality. I ordered one for my kiddo and it's pure magic!
Love the book, but I'm worried about the movie. It looks fantastic, so I hope they did a good job with the story.
Did you both enjoy the movie? Both my husband and I thought it was fantastic, both Sendak and Jonze are one of a kind.
Thanks so much for including me in this post.
