This is one of those books that seems to have it all. Images of beautiful decay (doorbells from Florence), stunning hand-written captions and imagined stories of people who would answer if the author, Andrew Losowsky rang the bell.
Update: Hand-written font by Joel Holland. And it can be ordered through here (Thanks Andrew!).

Nice book. I LOVE THE FONT (in red).
Does anyone know what it is?
what a nice book! and the font as well!
what a perfect idea for a book— and imagining the person behind the doorbell hardware strikes me as so romantic.
Nice post! The link should be www.chroniclebooks.com, though!
Thanks Jan! Glad you like the look of it - we're really pleased how it came out. It's out in a few weeks, and can be ordered from Amazon.com here.
The typography is actually all handdrawn by the talented hand of Joel Holland.
I hope you find the finished product as delightful! (We think you might :) )
