kelly lynn jones has some new prints on her site! in her bio she explains how she attempts to analyze the isolation, over population and poverty in her country (the u.s.) whose facade speaks of unity, growth and wealth. the structures she paints are often built on rickety beams with little moments of picture perfect bushes trying to conceal their fragility. her "cities" are a hybrid of daily reality, which parallels a make belief world that combine all the various components that create an identifiable city or town.
