if you're going to seattle's bumbershoot this weekend, nooks looks like an interesting place to hang out. the henry art gallery and bumbershoot are presenting this satellite exhibit at the festival featuring toronto and vancouver-based artist collective instant coffee. they will engage audience members in event-based activiities from very intimate art talks, readings and performances, to dance parties, screenings, karaoke and other hands-on activities all within a sculptural installation based on breakfast nooks, designed as concentrated spaces for social interaction. here's the program.

Thanks so much for linking to us!
The nooks are looking great, and Instant Coffee has been awesome to work with - we're really happy with how the installation turned out, and now - with actual people, the sculptures are activated and it is a great place to be. Do come by and see us this weekend! If you're interested in these artists and what they do - visit them at www.instantcoffee.org.
