Love the nice think felt. There was a post on Apartment Therapy today that included a handful of links to sources for thicker felt. Apparently industrial suppliers are where to look. More info here: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/how-to/how-to-build-felt-sliding-doors-016848
sorry for the wonky url above.
this should work
thanks, I've been looking for that too.
Wow, this thick felt make great household pieces.
so simple. so beautiful!
small pieces are available in a few colours at Daiso in Richmond (although that was a month ago and they might change over stock) but I was happily surprised when I came across them!
This "industrial felt" is quite popular here in Germany right now. You can find placemats, coasters, bags etc. pretty much everywhere - I still really love it, though! There is a very nice felt shop in Munich, never been there in person but was able to send some friends there who went to Munich not too long ago. They brought back some samples I could choose from, beautiful colorways! Their website: www.daimer-filze.de (English version available)
I recently bought a big piece of thick grey felt right here in my hometown, Braunschweig, as there is a "felt factory" right here as well. They also have an English website: www.neufilz.de
