Chalet GRAND-PIC

Continuing on our huge crush of black facades and architecture, we recently fell in love with the chalet GRAND-PIC, a beautiful space designed by Appareil Architecture based in Quebec. Situated in a magnificent forest site in Austin, Quebec, the objective of the build was guided and inspired by the characteristics of the terrain.

According to it's architects, the owners wanted a warm space that was able to receive family and friends allowing them to experience and connect with the natural environment.

"The chalet GRAND PIC offers, by a simplicity and a sober materiality, a unique symbiosis experience between nature and architecture."
We love the airy feel and sense that you are really living amongst the trees.  Each individual building links together with boardwalks, making for a unique outdoor experience each time you step into another room, allowing for privacy amongst it's dwellers, but yet the sense of togetherness at the same time.

Let's take a look!

Year of construction: 2017
Location: Austin, Qc Canada
Area: 1464p2
