Hotel Style | A Belgium B & B Bunker

The Bunkers is a newly opened Bed and Breakfast located about an hour north of Ghent, Belgium. Originally built in concrete on the brink of World War I, the heritage structure has been restored by a Belgian family with a love for architecture.

The communal space is shaped around a Vipp kitchen, and local architect agency,  Govaert & Vanhoutte transformed the original bunker into a contemporary five room guest house by adding a wooden extension with large metal framed windows. A perfect spot for guests to retreat after a day of discovering the unspoiled nature of northern Belgium.  Let's take a look! Photos by Tim Van de Velde.
