Gift Guide | The Silent Traveller + Reindeers Are Wild Too

The Silent Traveller is an ongoing project by Amy Revier that bases a linen suit set on a carefully selected travel memoir. Intended for sleep, play, and mental or physical travel, the suits can be worn for either leisure or lounging. A perfect gift idea for the wanderlust.

The second series of The Silent Traveller introduces suit sets made from 100% Lithuanian linen and draws inspiration from Joan Newhouse’s book Reindeer are Wild Too (1954). In the book, Newhouse details her time spent travelling with a nomadic tribe and their reindeer across the desolate mountains and fjords of northern Norway and Finland. The suits reference Newhouse’s enchanting observations of people and place, echoing her descriptions of deep blues held captive in ice walls and the soft brown layers of a reindeer’s coat.

The Silent Traveller II is a limited edition available exclusively at Hostem's (out of the UK) or by inquiry. For more information visit hostem.co.uk or email INFO@HOSTEM.CO.UK. Let's take a look!
