Holiday Decor Ideas from Kids Help Phone Home for the Holidays Event



The 13th annual Kids Help Phone 'Homes for the Holidays' is happening this weekend here in Vancouver and interiors photographer, Janis Nicolay who volunteers her talent every year to photograph the homes has kindly sent us a few sneak peeks!


Kids Help Phone' Homes for the Holidays' is a seasonal self-guided tour and fundraiser for Kids Help Phone, which has become an annual tradition where local homeowners, designers, retail stores and countless volunteers generously give their time and talent to make this event a huge success, inspiring us all with decor possibilities for the holidays while supporting such a great cause, Kids Help Phone in our community.

Five beautiful homes in Vancouver, ranging from contemporary to traditional to modern, will have your festive impulse buzzing when you see what this year's designers have come up with to help make your holiday season memorable. Today we get to show you a sneak peek behind two of the homes by Denise Ashmore - Project 22 Design - @P22d and Tanya Krpan - Tanya Krpan Design Co. -  @tanyakrpandesignco.

Home No. 1 — A Celebration of Winter
The first sneak peek is called "A Celebration of Winter" with Western Living Magazine’s Designer of the year Denise Ashmore of Project 22 Design, along with Measured Architecture Inc. and Harrier Construction. All photos by Janis Nicolay.

Denise and her team, at Project 22, have crafted beautiful wood bead garlands with an all natural feel to their decor.

Unique Wrapping DIY Ideas
Loving the simple, neutral coloured wrap ideas. From kraft paper, white string, manilla tags and washi tapes to wrapping in duck cloth (and sewn together with red thread) —love that!
