In Stitches | 10 Embroidery + Punch Needle Ideas

We're loving the strong embroidery and stitching trend right now, and I'm even more excited to try out my new punch needles I got online recently. There's so much beautiful inspiration around too, and this month we've come across a few ideas from some of our favourite crafty magazines and on instagram. Come and check them out below!

1.  Beetlemania
Beautiful coloured beetles and dragonflies created by Victoria Vicente, Lucien Isadora and Luna Menot for Marie Claire Idées (Oct '17).

2. Watercolour Bugs
A beautiful combination of watercolour fabric and embroidery, created by Justine Da Silva for Marie Claire Idées (Oct '17).

3. Denim Flowers
Revitalize an old pair of jeans with some beautiful flowers from this template from Ideas Magazine.  Created by Elsbeth Eksteen. Styled by Carin Smith, photographed by Ed O'Riley.

4.  Punch Needle Love
As mentioned we've been super-inspired by the punch needle (which comes in different sizes), where we saw it first in action from Bookhou's feed this past summer. So much so, we had to buy our own from her.

Also inspired by Senorita Lylo whom we wrote about last year as she embroiders on knit surfaces. Perfect for the cupcoming season!
