Hotel Style | Hotel Panache - Paris

Always on the lookout for a gorgeous boutique hotel to steal decor tricks from, we recently stumbled upon Hotel Panache on Instagram (via @erica.cook/) and instantly were drawn in.  Located on the corner of rue du Faubourg Montmartre and rue Geoffroy Mari, Paris, Hotel Panache revisits time codes, inspired by art deco, a trend we love seeing more and more of mixed with modern surfaces and textiles. Let's take a look!

Loving the bevelled mirrors and sleek art nouveau style furnishings. Each room boasts a different wallpaper which sets the stage for a muted colour palette.

The ground floor lounge features brass accents and panelled finishings. Note the rounded corners mixed with geometric shapes.

These headboards have our heart and what initially caught our eye. The perfect intersection of Art Nouveau and modern day. Note how each room's different wallpapers adapt to the same headboard.

Very elegant. It's a nice change from the usual collection of Roche-Bobois and Kartell knock-offs. I particularly like the retro details.

Jan, I stayed there in February and while it is very beautiful I have to report that their cleanliness and staff was a big disappointment. I don't even want to tell you the condition the toilet was in upon my check in at 10:30 at night but let's just say there was a huge "merde". I kid you not. I'm not sure how housekeeping misses something like that, but I couldn't help but worry about what else wasn't cleaned. And even though we told them about it very kindly, the staff was super rude about it, too. So while it's very well designed, I'd never stay there again. So sad.

Hi Victoria,
Oh no, sorry to hear this! It looks so nice. That's super uncool. And right, worrisome for sure. That is sad. Thanks for your honesty.

Had they been nice and apologetic about it I wouldn't even mention it. But they were so rude I felt it worth telling you. But still, so pretty from a design inspiration point of view!
