Hotel Style | Pop-Up Airbnb Finnish KOTI in Paris

Gucki
Have a sleepover in Finland. Wake up in Paris. That is Institut finlandais' slogan for their unique KOTI living pop-up airbnb. An installation of six cottages set inside the Institut finlandais (available for 100 days only), from January till May 2017 for the celebration of the centenary of Finnish independence. The space was launched this weekend during Maison et Objet and our friend Alexandra Barlassina of the Italian blog Gucki alerted us of this gem when she instagrammed the above photo. We knew we had to include it in our hotel style series here on Poppytalk.  Above photo by Gucki, all other photos by Institut finlandais.

Curated by award designer, Linda Bergroth KOTI is a unique design and culture project for the Institut finlandais. Inspired by the aitta, a traditional Finnish guest cottage, during the pop-up's 100 days, KOTI will also play host to a series of inspiring events throughout the spring. From concerts and talks to film screenings and pop-up restaurants, between January and May, 2017, KOTI is set to be one of the most exciting event destinations in Paris.

Let's take a look!
