A Small Space in Stockholm

Late last year we wrote about the new real estate site from Sweden called Nooks. As many of you know, real estate sites in Scandinavia have the best way of featuring homes for sale there. Styled in such a way that makes them more appealing for buyers, even a small space like this one in the Södermalm area of Stockholm is adorable and cozy.  Let's take a look!

The kitchen is the highlight of this small space bachelor pad style flat featuring subway tiling, marble countertops and that adorable Smeg fridge. We also love the open shelving concept which seems to make the space a bit bigger.

A tiny livingroom has a featured wall painted in a dark grey, adding drama and a bit of sophistication.

The dining room area is well placed, and having a fold down table, makes it easy to entertain with bigger parties.

And we love this little nook for the bedroom, and it's shelf above the bed (note the clamp light). Makes for a nice place to curl up in and read a book.

The sofa looks to me to be two twin mattresses--at first I thought it was just one, but the back seems to be another mattress on its side. Certainly one way of having beds for guests.
I used to have a fold-down table that, when folded, was only about 12 inches wide. And it came with four wooden folding chairs that fit inside. Brilliant space saver.
