DIY | Origami Poinsettias

This summer we had a wonderful student employee named Danielle helping us out, who also happened to be quite the origami ninja! Although she's back at school now, her origami skills left a deep impression and we've been practicing ever since. We found an origami kit with instructions for making all sorts of flowers, and if you have ever seen origami instructions, you know they can be daunting, but Danielle had most of them figured out in no time and so we decided to record her making them all to share on Poppytalk.  Although we haven't edited all of the film yet, we did manage to master the poinsettia a perfect place to start and fitting for the season.  The poinsettia turns out to be pretty simple, as all of the flowers and leaves are the same folds, and then the centre is the only different fold.  Click below for the how-to video and a few images of what you can do with them.
