Hotel Style | Aquiles Eco Hotel in Cape Verde

Made from wooden containers, set within a concrete skeleton, the Aquiles Eco Hotel, on the beach of the fishing village São Pedro in Cape Verde (Africa) is a great prototype for a sustainable hotel.  The hotel's philosophy reflects a total ecological environmental integration.

Every aspect is ecologically considered.  As the island's materials (sand, stone and wood) are protected by law, they were not used in any part of the construction.  Even the furniture is made from recycled wood. All of the hotel services use renewable energy sources like solar or wind energy.

We love the box-like rooms with their whitewashed wood paneling (top to bottom) and minimal, style throughout.

Let's take a look!
