One block from Götgatsbacken, one of the longest streets in central Stockholm and on the isle of Södermalm is this charming two-room flat apartment. We love the cozy nooks and crannies with all of it's generous natural light and beautiful painted white flooring.  The kitchen is spot on with it's subway tiles and dark grout and open shelving; and check out the cement countertops, something rarely seen here in N. America in smaller apartments.







The String shelving works well in this small-spaced living room to create a home office area just outside of the main conversation section.  The black frames in the gallery pull it all together.  The black and white theme is anchored by some nice brass accents in the mirror, the coffee table, the ceiling light and even the brass pineapple photograph hanging above the sofa. And have you ever noticed there always seems to be a Marshall speaker in Swedish apartments?



The tiling in the bathroom keeps the industrial feel throughout the apartment.
