Ice Cream Bar | Very Berry + Mango All Fruit Ice Cream

If you're on a health kick right now and don't wish to eat a real ice cream treat, then this delicious treat option might be for you! We ran into this frozen fruit dessert soft serve machine at our local grocers that magically turns frozen fruit into creamy no-guilt goodness! Pssst! If you started following us on Snapchat (poppytalkcom) you may have seen it in action. And when we googled it, there seemed to be a heap of them available online also.  I was skeptical at first, but this machine is the healthy eaters dream and we had to share!  It's also super-simple; just thaw out some frozen fruit for about 10 minutes (so it's not rock hard), pour into machine, press and voila!  Creamy frozen fruit soft serve!  Since there's no sugar added it's pretty guilt-free. You can also make it a little more creamy by adding in the odd piece of frozen banana in between the other fruit, or we have also tried a few mini cubes of plain frozen yogurt in to the mix of frozen fruit if you want it to be extra creamy, or for a special treat add a little chocolate.  Here we've made pure (fruit only) soft serves, our favorite using just frozen mango cubes which makes a really creamy soft serve all on its own and the other, a berry mix using frozen raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and cherries.

Thaw fruit for approximately 10 minutes prior to using.

Pour fruit into funnel.  Press down on the fruit with the press tube, turn on the machine and push the fruit through.

Eat as a soft serve, or scoop (quickly) into ice cream scoops to cone.

Same process for the mangoes.  We just added some dried coconut chips for garnish.

Yum!
