Happy Holiday Neopolitan Extreme Milkshakes!

We've been wanting to try making one of those extreme milkshakes we've been seeing online (originally from Australia) for a bit now and what better time than the holidays?  These anything goes milkshakes (we've even seen them topped with hamburgers) were so fun to create and now after all that sugar, our heads are spinning with the possibilities!

These drinks are pretty straight forward.  All you need is some delicious milkshake recipes and a heap of creativity!  So fun for the kids.  We made ours neopolitan-style, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and topped them with some favourite donuts from our local bakery!

We teamed up with Staples Canada for this post because for these drinks, you need some major coasters! We love their Copy & Print service for creating one-of-a-kind photo gifts and loved how our flowery photo turned out!

Check out the how-to for the milkshakes below:

Happy Holiday Neopolitan Extreme Milkshakes!

For the Milkshakes

Vanilla
3 scoops of vanilla ice cream
1 cup of milk

Chocolate
3 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream
1 cup milk
2 long squirts of chocolate syrup

Strawberry
3 scoops of strawberry ice cream
1 cup milk
2 long squirts of strawberry syrup

For the Toppings!
2-3 donuts of your choice
Whip cream
Toppings of your choice  (marshmallows, carmel popcorn, cookie crumbs, etc)

To Make
Mix the ice cream, milk (and syrup if you wish) in a blender and mix until frothy.  In your glass, squirt a few squirts of syrup to the sides of the glass.  Pour in your milkshake to just the very top of the glass.  Top with your 2 or 3 donuts, a dollop or squirt of whip cream, toppings of your choice, a straw and you're set!

Happy Holidays!
