Extreme Milkshake Party New Years Eve Party for Kids!

Guest post by Hipster Mum

The way you spend New Year's Eve is the way you'll spend the rest of the year.

Well, that's what they say anyway. And if your love of sweet treats is only outdone by your fondness for family, this Extreme Milkshake New Year's Eve party might just be the perfect celebration to indulge both.

Extreme Milkshakes are the food fad du jour right now in Australia. From Canberra cafe Pâtissez’s salted butter caramel shake topped with a slice of pecan pie to Sydney cafe Foodcraft Espresso’s triple-decker Nutella doughnut ball concoction, these monster-truck milkshakes could have been directly downloaded from the brains of toddlers - so why not get kids involved to make their own?

That's exactly what we did. And I've got to say, the cutie cuisiniers loved every minute.

Brilliant balloon styling from Born To Party and wickedly hip clothes from NUNUNU kept the whole celebration on the right side of outrageous.

What do you think of this new food fad? Will you and your family give it a go?
