Today we're thrilled to be sharing a few photos from Kelly Deck of Kelly Deck Design here in Vancouver.  For those of you new to her work, the director of Kelly Deck Design located in beach-side Kitsilano, Vancouver, her full-service interior design firm specializes in private residences. Her ideas have gained national reach—through her Globe and Mail column, "The West Coast Way"; her HGTV series, Take It Outside; and her various media appearances.




Tell us a bit about your photos?
Our client has a beautiful beach side home on the Sunshine Coast; they asked us to decorate it in a lighthearted manner for Christmas. Our inspiration was a handful of sea glass that our client brought from their home in Bermuda - soft greens, blues and white.



These photos illustrate the advent calendar we made for them using a star punch, brown bags, a white pin board and gold Kate Spade thumb tacks. Inside each bag is a candy or gift for their two daughters.



What is your favorite holiday tradition?
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree - mine is always white, green and gold and it's comprised of the many lovely ornaments my friends and family have contributed over the years.
