This project turned out so well, and we are thrilled with the results. We don't why we didn't do this before, and if you're thinking of a project that you've had on the back burner for way too long now, then we definitely encourage you to just jump in today and get it done! CIL Premium paint was excellent to use, and made the whole project so easy to finish—with the paint and primer in one can; one coat and we were done! It definitely made it a lot easier and takes away a lot of the time and effort it usually takes to do a paint re-do. Plus with no VOCs, it made it so pleasant.

Here's a look at the completed project. We used CIL's Dark Secret, a fantastic shade of black that really set off our kitchen wall's shelf. Check out the before and after! It's amazing what a little bit of paint can do to bring a space together. We're so glad we did this! Now we're ready to receive holiday guests and the kitchen feels a little more together! Perfect until we have the money for our dream kitchen.

How to enter for the Grand Prize: 

The Beauty on a Small Budget contest launches on October 13, 2015 and runs through until November 29, 2015. Participants can enter this contest on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook by posting a photo of their finished paint project with their can of CIL Premium paint and using the dedicated hashtag, #CILPremiumBeauty.

One entry is allowed per project, therefore if one person does more than one project they are eligible to enter more than once using the #CILPremiumBeauty hashtag.

There will be two prizes awarded - one (1) for province of Québec and another one (1) for the rest of Canada.

Once the contests close winners will be chosen via random draw.

The grand prize will consist of a two-hour home design consultation by a design influencer from the program and $5,000 CDN in The Home Depot gift cards.

CIL Premium paint can be purchased exclusively at The Home Depot and costs just $29 for a 3.78 L can, offering competitive market value for a quality product.
