Here's a few pretty IKEA takes on a few autumn inspired crafts from the folks at Livet Hemma. Top (and two below): Stylist Pella Hedeby adds a little autumn to some of IKEA products with the use of leather.  Refresh cushion covers (URSULA) and (GADDIS) baskets with leather handles or hang a simple EKBY shelf on a leather strap. What's needed: Leather belts in various widths, a punch pliers and screw rivets. A super-easy project. Measure out the appropriate length , cut , hole and screw in the pins! Yay!

(Below four images): Also, a new look for the VITTSJÖ nest of tables makes things look super cozy.  To give the furniture a new look they changed the tables glass panel to tile plates. A simple and affordable option if you want the sense of marble or concrete in your interior. With larger tiles, you can often buy the piece from a tile or hardware store and then have a tile cutter cut them to the correct dimensions.

(Below two images): And inspired by natural forms and a modern take on the classic herbarium. Prints of leaves in glass frames. To make these: One option is potato stamps which carves out a pattern of a raw potato, dipped in paint and press motif on paper or fabric. The other way is to paint and print directly from a leaf, it becomes very vivid and effective. Here they are framed with just a simple white RIBBA wooden frames without the backing. The SINNERLIG glass jar and cork lid is perfect for pinecones and forest finds.

The design ideas are really great, but I don't understand why anyone would want to purchase furniture from a company owned by a card-carrying Nazi (Google it).
