Sneak Peek! Inside Out Magazine | October

Inside Out Magazine's next issue (October '15) comes out this Thursday, and we're always excited to see what's in store!  Managing Editor, Lee Tran Lam gives us a sneak peek:

There's the lovely home of owners Jamie and Matt Walsh – which has gone through 13 years of updates and renovation work! One of the many changes they made was an extension and as the owner Jamie says, the timing of the work was pretty intense. "Building the extension was a little crazy – we had two small children and baby number three on the way with only half a house. I cooked outside on the barbecue and washed up in the small bathroom sink!" Styling by Jane Frosh. Photography by Phu Tang.

One of the most amazing homes in our October issue belongs to Petra Janssen and Edwin Vollebergh, who run Studio Boot. A 21-metre display unit (!) created with the help of Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek is just one of many fascinating and unique features in their house (which used to be an old car workshop). In the kitchen, there's even an old school bell that they ring to tell their sons dinner is ready! Styling by Studio Boot. Photography by Jean-Marc Wullschleger/Living Agency.

And our cover story is on the weekend home of interior designer Suzanne Cunningham, who runs One Girl Interiors. The inspiration for the home's style comes from the line from 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' – "Where troubles melt like lemon drops" – which Tamara Maynes has even crafted into an embroidery piece, as you can see! Thank you Lee Tran! The October issue of Inside Out Magazine is out Thursday and is available at newsagents or digitally via Zinio, Google Play, iTunes & Nook.
