Social Sessions Announces Two More Panelists


We're excited to announce today that we've added two more panelists to our talk on "Growing Your Following" at IDSwest's + Poppytalk's 'Social Sessions' this coming September.

Local instagrammer,  Monika Hibbs from her newly branded MH by Monika Hibbs will be bringing her experience sharing her world of home decor, fashion and lifestyle online to the panel.  Monika is known for her distinct branding style, clean aesthetic and character. With beautiful photography, Monika engages you to get up and go do something new. You’ll be pulled into her world by her white airy, real perspective on life as a wife,momma,sister and friend.

Equally exciting, Meighan O'Toole  out of Boston, MA will be joining us too!  Meighan is a Digital Strategist helping artists, creatives, and retailers develop and define their voice through social media, content creation, and overall strategy online. In the past she’s worked in social media for Yahoo, and community manager for Wikipedia, and WIRED. In between helping clients catch her a few times a month hosting What's Your Story, an interview-style podcast dedicated to the professional and personal journeys of artists. More about the "Social Sessions"
The Social Sessions is a partnership between Poppytalk and IDSwest. Focusing on design, the online world and blogging community, the one day conference series of seminars will inspire, connect and open up dialogue to the west coast online community and beyond.

Three seminars are planned. A keynote session with one of Times 30 Most Influential People on the Internet, Joy Cho of Oh Joy, a panel on “Growing a Following” moderated by Earl Einarson of Poppytalk featuring Jaime Derringer of Design Milk, Jan Halvarson of Poppytalk and a late afternoon panel talk about “Planning Your Tech.”
