Sneak Peek - July Issue of Inside Out Mag!

As the Northern Hemisphere starts to enjoy the long summer days, our friends down under are getting deep into winter, and as Lee Tran Lam, Managing Editor of Inside Out Magazine tells us, their new July issue (out Thursday) is proof of this!  And we have a sneak peek of what looks to be another lovely issue.  Lee Tran Lam gives us the details:

"There's our special on throws, as styled by Joseph Gardner and photographed by Sam McAdam-Cooper, which is full of designs you want to cosy up with. I especially love that chunky hand-kitted blanket by Little Dandelion, – it would be a good shield for when you want to warm up on the sofa and binge-watch through all the great shows on right now.

We even head to the Italian Alps and feature a 14th-century farmhouse right in the thick of those big picturebook-like banks of snow. It belongs to sculptor and furniture maker Othmar Prenner, who restored a rundown home originally owned by his uncle (he also fixed it up with his carpenter brother, so there's an extra family connection to this building). Photography by Christian Schaulin.

We also visit the Hobart home of Rebecca Wiggins, who runs the Thirteen Red Shoes blog: http://thirteenredshoes.blogspot.com.au. I love the tassel garland that she created for her bedroom. Styling by Megan Morton. Photography by Brooke Holm.

One of my favourite features in the mag is on the home of Katie Graham, who is the creator and managing director of The Family Love Tree, thefamilylovetree.com.au. How amazing is her home?! I love that bright, cheery buffet that is from Katie's own collection and the wonderfully attention-seeking wallpapers on show (such as the 'Leopard Print' from These Walls and 'Giant Rhododendron' from Orla Kiely). She's so dedicated to wallpapers that she even worked out how to sneak a design under her glass splashback (she found the right installer who was able to fit it without compromising the print). Styling by Rachel Vigor. Photography by Derek Swalwell.

It was also great fun to interview Linzi Macdonald – when she's not busy creating toddler teepes for littlelinzi.bigcartel.com, she is working on the amazing dollhouse she's 'renovated' for her daughter, Maddie. She's actually gone to the trouble of remaking real-life designs, artworks and furniture in miniature for the house! (You can also follow her progress here: instagram.com/little.linzi.) Photography by Sam McAdam Cooper."

Thank you Lee Tran! The July issue of Inside Out Magazine is out Thursday and is available at newsagents or digitally via Zinio, Google Play, iTunes & Nook.
