A Room-By-Room Guide, by Grabriel Stanley Blair

Design Mom founder, Gabriel Stanley Blair has a new book out this spring which inspires us to decorate and organize while living with kids.  This room-by-room guide offers up unique ideas, inspiration and solutions to decorate a home despite the chaos, toys and sticky hands.  From simple, stylish storage solutions, getting the most out of the smallest spaces, making it easy for kids to help around the house to rainy-day projects and much more!  We also like her dedication to her parents which she mentions, "Thank you...for showing me that it doesn't take deep pockets to create a beautiful place where your family can thrive." Love that sentiment! Let's take a look shall we?

Loving all the yellows!

This idea of pulling different tables together to create one big table is brilliant (and looks cool too)!  Perfect for large gatherings or large families, like the Blairs!

Toy storage, always a dilemma. Gabriel offers up simple solutions that are easy to find, and look nice.

Love the idea of having a work table, one that can withstand hot glue, ink splats, and big enough to layout the biggest of projects.  Not always possible, but worthy of inspiration.

Or this fun project making a You Are Special Today plate using one of these 3 designs:
