New IKEA SINNERLIG + 5 Rad IKEA Hacks

It's Friday and what a week! With heaps of Design shows happening, our instagram feed has been a whirlwind of inspiration!  One of our favorite showcases was out of Sweden via Emma's Design Blogg and IKEA's new SINNERLIG collection  by Ilse Crawford (above).  A beautiful array of pieces including a mid-century Danish-style daybed (above) along with other pieces using cork, blown glass, rustic ceramics and more.  Apparantly the collection will be worldwide this fall and in production for a year or longer so everyone who wants a piece will be able to get one! Click here to take a look.  After that, come back to check out  few IKEA hacks that we've loved this past while. (below).

1. BESTA Mid Century Modern Record Console
A BESTA was cut down to accommodate records and a receiver. Topped with Brazilian hardwood and hairpin legs were added. Via Ikea Hackers.

2. HYLLIS Shelving
A really good looking shelving unit using HYLLIS (cut down) and hung upside down, painted with wood planks added as shelves. By Skreytum Hus via Ikea Hackers.

3. Cream and Black Club Chairs
TULLSTA chairs are given a makeover using black piping to create some luxe club chairs.  By The Gathered Home.

4.  KALLAX Craft Cabinet Doors
A rad way to cover clutter on the KALLAX (or the older EXPEDIT) shelving units.  Looks ten times better, yes? Via Ikea Hackers.

5. Hicks Pendant Light
A VASTER pendant is hacked to look like the popular Hicks Pendant Light.  From The Gathered Home.

Happy Friday!
