Hotel Style | Drake Devonshire

This past spring the Drake Hotel in the West Queen West neighbourhood of Toronto opened up the Drake Devonshire, transplanting their boutique brand outside of the metropolitan centre, to Prince Edward County in the charming village of Wellington, Ontario.  Overlooking Lake Ontario, the historic building (originally an iron foundry) is located smack in the centre of a quaint town which boasts internationally acclaimed vineyards, amazing beaches, a robust winter season plus noteworthy artwork and resident artists.  Their patio caught our eye on instagram and we knew we had to include it in one of our Hotel Style posts.

(Above and three images below): The owner's suite which is totally rentable offers up a jaw dropping view of Lake Ontario with a large, private patio off a large 658 sq. ft. A-frame room. We're loving the wood panelled, peaked ceiling and cozy fireplace.

A really cool feature in the The Drake Pavillion room (an entertainment room), is this floor to ceiling mural by Brooklyn artist FAILE.

Check out some of the other rooms:

Drake Devonshire 24 Wharf St., Wellington, Ont., 1-844-898-3338, drakedevonshire.ca, rates from $229.
