We're in H&H's Holiday Issue!

We're excited to be featured in the November (Holiday) issue of House and Home Magazine which comes out this week in their "Storewatch" article. Janis Nicolay was the photographer which made the shoot all the more special and she was also kind enough to send along some outtakes from the shoot for us to share here on the blog today.  This is also the reason we've been keeping photo's of the store underwraps here.

It felt strange to style the shop with the holidays in mind in the summer, but we had fun creating some fun gift wrapping ideas using Sycamore Street Press' "Indigo" papers and some pretty bark from our neighborhood florist, The Flower Factory and pinecones from Pinecone Camp of course! We think they turned out really nice.  That wrapping paper is so adaptable!

A huge thank you to House and Home Magazine, we're so honoured!  The latest H&H is available in newstands now and online through House and Home's website or through Zinio.com.

For those of you that haven't been, our store is located at 109 East Broadway, here in Vancouver. We'd look forward to meeting you in person!  And for those of you not able to visit our store here in Vancouver, we have some of our stock available in our online store, here.

Here's Janis' outtakes!

I just started following your blog recently and didn't realize you had a shop! It is my dream to open a little gift shop some day, and I want to name it after my blog, too! How inspiring :) Congrats on the feature. Your shop is precious.

I'm a new reader too (although I've followed you what seems like forever on Pinterest...) and your shop is just the cutest! What a dream come true it must be. Our library finally started carrying House & Home (I'm in the states) and it is one of the best magazines!! Congratulations on the feature...I will be looking out for it!
