IKEA has introduced a few new collections this month (October) covering all areas of the home. Focusing on more traditional styles and inspired by the place they come from: Sweden. But there's also something for the more modern and eclectic home including a really cool home office desk (the HILVER) we're loving! Lots of beautiful folkloric patterns in muted winter hues. Let's take a look! (Above: Textiles with a Swedish folkloric past in mind.)

With its mixture of colors and patterns, the Swedish traditional collection works great as solitaires but also makes a strong style suggestion when grouped together.
“My idea when I designed the collection was to create a series that exudes tradition and craftsmanship, but with a contemporary and unique feeling. The result is rustic tableware with a strong focus on details. I hope it’s tableware that
people never tire of or want to replace.”
- Designer Annie Huldén
