The Hudson's Bay (in Richmond, B.C.) recently underwent major renovations and earlier this week we had a preview tour of the amazing new beauty department before it's official opening day this Saturday, October 11th. From shu uemura's counter (above) offering up samurai sword-like sharpened eyebrow pencils to Shiseido's in-store mini-spa room; here's 10 (good-to-know) secret tips in the new Bay beauty department at Richmond Centre!  Let's take a look!



shu uemura

shu uemura has an exciting counter at HBC complete with sinks at the shuATELEIR where shu uemura trained technicians offer up heaps of beautiful products.


Tip #1 Get the shu uemura technicians to sharpen The Hard Formula Brow Pencil in the shape of a samurai sword (Niigata-style) which combined with its' hard lead creates a more realistic brow, giving the user more control, resulting in a more natural, defined brow. MAC has a beautiful new counter set up. Love their neon lighting.
Tip #6 - When you book a make-up application at MAC's at the Bay, the $50 deposit can be used to purchase MAC products.


LANCOME

Tip #7 Ask Lancome specialists to match your skin to their foundations and ask for a free 7-day sample to try at home.


Tip #8 Ask about the happenings in the secret spa room located in one of the former fitting rooms located near the Petites section. 



Tip #9  Look for special product launches exclusively only to The Bay.  Psssst! Did you know The Bay often gets special early releases of new products from company's such as Chanel and Dior, long before they are released in the US?
