As we head into fall, our friends down under at Inside Out Magazine are just entering summer and are kicking it off in style in their latest issue (out Thursday). And we have a few sneak peek images to share along with a few words from Managing Editor, Lee Tran Lam:

Our cover story is on the home of Klarissa Pfisterer and Hamish Freeman who run the graphic design studio, Pfisterer + Freeman. They actually camped out the front of their house during their eight-month renovation! And they didn't mind it! "It was crazy fun," says Hamish. There's a standout kitchen (which is pretty on theme, given the 'kitchen and bathroom' focus of our October issue), but lots of other rooms are noteworthy, too. Blogger and shop owner Louise Bell invites Inside Out readers to her house as part of our next 'Open For Inspection' home tour. I love this particularly clever idea from her place – she's painted Ikea spice racks and turned them into book shelves for a kid's room. Styling by Jason Grant. Photography by Harold David.

We also feature the latest home of stylist Claire Delmar – who was style editor on our magazine, back when I started at 'Inside Out' in 2006! I love the inspiring decorative displays she has throughout her house.
