A beautiful piece by Bonnie Kaserman |
We hosted
our first class this past friday in our new
Poppytalk space to celebrate the worldwide Etsy Craft Party Day! The theme was Recapture (bringing new meaning to photographs), and our group amazed us with their embroidery skills and creativity. Lyndsay of
Coco Cake Land treated us to her amazing vanilla cream cupcakes and iced spicey donuts with sprinkles! We took a few pics of some of the event:

lovely! wish I lived closer. as a fellow-vintage lover I have to ask...were the photos original? Love the concept if they are copies. a little sad if the originals were used. xo julia
I'm with Julia on this. As a photographer & lover of history, I am disappointed by this if they are originals.
Looking forward to your next craft day! Wish I could have made it to this one. I'm going to play around with some of my mom's "Miss Kitimat" pics now ;)
Thanks for hosting this Jan and Earl, it was so much fun. Kind of felt like we were all hanging out in your living room <3

Meesh - Great to see you again!
Very cool! I attended the #craftparty at West Elm - Emeryville hosted by SF Etsy. It was a lot of fun --- tried a new craft and met some new people. Already looking forward to what Etsy has in store for next years gathering!
