Dispatch from Vancouver | Nineteen Ten

Anne Carnavale

Last week I had the chance to finally drop by Nineteen Ten, a fairly new shop here in Vancouver that opened October 2012 on Main Street.  Owners Jenn Kiel and Amy Russell (former buyers of a local retailer), have curated a beautiful selection of exclusive, undiscovered and unique items to create a refreshing shopping destination here in the lower mainland.  From rustic ceramics by artists such as Anne Carnevale to gorgeous reclaimed wood tables and utilitarian objects, like french cotton tea towels and linen pillows and pouches from Roost, all worth a visit if you're in the Vancouver area. Let's take a look!

French Butter Dishes and spoons by Anne Carnevale

Linen Pillows (Roost) and Coyuchi Wool Throws

Linen Pouches (Roost)

Objets Mecaniques Cutting Boards

Garden Bells by Michele Qwan | And a few cute birdhouses from Roost

A beautiful selection of Papergoods

Loved this shelf behind the couner made from vintage wooden crates and pipes that they had designed and had specially made for the shop!

Marble Cake Stands (Roost)

All photos by Poppytalk (except the last by Jay Delaney).

Nineteen Ten is located at 4366 Main Street, Vancouver BC. Visit them online at nineteenten.ca (they even have a blog here) and on facebook.
