10 Faves from IKEA 2014 Summer Collection

Do you think if I post summer collections, it will channel spring? I think we have turned a corner finally and the warm weather is soon upon us.  It seems this winter has been especially hard in some parts and so why not dream a little. The IKEA summer collection dropped in my inbox this week, so how about a sneak peek of that?  All products should all be available near the end of March I've heard. Here's a few faves I'm looking forward to checking out!  (Above): APPLARO sun lounger with soft HALLO pad.

A really nice new line is the VINDALSO furniture range which includes an armchair, dining table and a serving cart (shown above). Not sure if this will be in N. America (but certainly hope so)!
Update: Not available in Canada.

Another nice addition from their summer collection is eldkorgen BROKÖ (fire basket) - I'm not sure if this one is coming to N. America, but I see it's online in the UK and Sweden. Update: Not available in Canada.

I also like the new FLISO parasol and BRAMSON base which doesn't take up more space than necessary on smaller balconies.

There's also a new collection of textiles with a nautical theme (knots, ropes, seafood).  LISEL textiles capture the essence of a seaside fishing village using lots of blue, white and red. There are duvet covers, pillowcases, cushions, towels, rugs, metre fabrics, etc.  All available now.  Check them out below.

Can't wait for summer, how about you?

Love Ikea fabrics, it's good quality and the prices are great. I made some cushions with the wooden effect fabric you're featuring here: http://aylesburydays.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/poduchy.html

Gotta love IKEA! I was just there for a quick grab of something mundane (light strips) but backtracked when I saw their new linens! Yay!
