Hotel Style | The Orient Express

I'm sure I'm not alone by saying I've always dreamed of taking the Orient Express. For all the obvious reasons, the romance, the luxury, the sense of history and most of all for the style.  How can one not love the workmanship in the oak paneling, the details of the textile patterns, the beautiful monograms and the art deco history. So I came across a few images lately, and added a few others to create a little hotel style post, from what I'd wear, to what I'd carry.  A little bit of fashion, mixed with vintage and beautiful scenery.  Let's take a trip shall we?  All images from Orient-Express unless otherwise noted.

This pink-themed plaid cape by Delpozo from the 2014 New York Fall Fashion Week would be the perfect coat for a fall trip don't you think?  (Photo via Harper's Bazaar | Imaxtree).
