DIY | Fading Fall Wreath from Paper to Petal

The most beautiful craft book Paper to Petal, 75 Whimsical Paper Flowers to Craft by Hand by Rebecca Thuss and Patrick Farrell was sent to us recently and today I'm thrilled to share an exclusive  project from the book. A Fading Fall Wreath.  Just in time for fall, this beautiful autumn-coloured wreath with colours from pumpkin orange to plums and browns is made with florist and single-ply crepe, tissue and paper-covered pears.

We have uploaded the instructions in jpg format for a quick glance, but we are also supplying the a pdf file which also includes the leaf templates for the project. Isn't it beautiful?  Such a gorgeous book and if you've ever been interested in making something like this for a special ocassion, this is definitely the book.  There's also a nice forward by Martha Stewart. A Christmas tree filled with beautiful various coloured paper flowers from this book would be amazing.  The book is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Indiebound.  Click HERE to download the pdf to make the fall wreath.  Cool book!
