Canadian Premiere: Sign Painter Movie + Giveaway


As mentioned back in March, the much anticipated documentary Sign Painters by Faythe Levine and Sam Macon is out and will be making its Canadian debut here in Vancouver this weekend (Jun 7 and 8/13)  presented by Lotus Events. Both Friday and Sunday screenings will be followed by directors Q+A . Here are the deets:

When:           Friday, June 7th, 2013 and Saturday, June 8th, 2013
                       doors 6:30pm | screening 7:30pm | Q+A to follow
Admission:   $20.00 in advance | $25.00 at the door (19+ to attend)

That's such a beautiful book! I'm going to look for it when I go to Indigo today! I hope the film comes to Toronto soon, it would be great to do a review of it for my blog!!

First heard about this at The Makers Fair this weekend - didn't know Levine was working on this while touring with her last documentary and book - My wallets empty and I'd love to see the documentary. As an artist and teacher myself I could spread the love and support ;)
