I'm leaving you this week with a few photo's from Design Week in Milan. Paula Andrea Callejas Greiffenstein and giovanniviscomi.com was kind enough to send over a few pictures of what she saw. And I hope to have a few more trickling throughout the weekend. First off a little stop to Superstudio Più. How cute are those bamboo shopping bags (above) from Yod Corporation and the Thai tableware "Slow hand design - Thai-a-spice".






This is Hyundai's “fluidic - Sculpture In Motion” at Superstudio Più. Fluidic is an inter-active light installation in the Temporary Museum for New Design.

Swedish design _ LiU Malmsten goes Milan. From the Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies, Linkopings University. Round boxes in different heights accommodate personal precious things. Moooi had a pretty impressive display, check out their 360 panorama of their presentation during Salone del Mobile 2013 at Via Savona 56. (Love that fabric)!


Droog design in partnership with Rijksmuseum. The little objects, 3d printed, are attached with magnets. The tablecloth in silicon is maybe the only "product they will develop, and is already for sale at their shop. Notice the plates, originally in porcelain with multicolour decoration, are done in color separations, but when overlay composed the same kind of ornate effect.Cutlery following original design but in titanium.
