Although Valentines chocolates and cards are sweet to send, I love the idea of sending something that can become more than just a card that’s tucked away in a drawer or memory box afterwards –something you can display and have hanging around for a while. In my search to find something special recently, I found heaps of love-themed posters, in fact 25 beautiful ones, some to print off, make or buy to give a Valentine this year (or really anytime - even if you're not a Valentines fan). I made them into a slideshow over at Babble today. (Love this one from Caravan - you download as a large format file and then head over to your local printers to print off. ). Click here to see.

I totally agree with your idea - in fact, I made my own this year for my boyfriend to go along with his main gift. I'll be posting a photo of it after he receives it, but it's basically a framed quote by his favourite writer and I used a bunch of different fonts to make it. It looks pretty rad for $12, if I don't say so! Great post :)
