For February IKEA is launching an excited new mix of products with styles that draw from traditional, contemporary and a little bit of Swedish country. From textiles with a touch of folklore, playful blue and white porcelain dinnerware to colourful storage boxes with bold graphic patterns, a hot round of handpicked, new products awaits. Here's a few faves:
1. Swedish Country Style Textiles
With names like Ã…KERKULLA, Ã…KERFRAKEN, Ã…KERTISTEL –new Swedish country style textiles with a touch of folklore mixed in from quilt covers, rugs, cushions, curtains and more. Lots of red, ochre, green, grey and white in floral and striped patterns.
2. NEW rugs

Soft rounded edges along with it's herringbone patterned seat make the ÄLMSTA rattan chair a versatile piece for the home. Comes in black or natural. $99.
9. Vettre bedside table
Designed by Tina Christensen and Kai Legaard, the VETTRE bedside table with its' strong industrial
influence comes in a perfect turquoise and has a pre-drilled hole in the bottom to run cords for laptops, cell phones, etc. $39.99.
10. SELJE bedside table
A contemporary geometric design, the SELJE bedside table is available in bright blue or white and is made of steel with a powder coating. $29.99
11. SOMMARMYS vases
A tiny bit taller than a smart phone, new SOMMARMYS vases are ideal for creating a flowery army of tiny, colourful glass vases. $2.49/ea.

I am so inspired by the new products coming out! Ikea has stepped its game up, I'm definitely going to head down for the desk, but I am loving the dishes, rattan chair and randlev rug as well.
