The Datebook Project- a collaboration between Gutwrench Press and Blackbird Letterpress is back this year with their compact, letterpress printed, coptic bound datebooks. The compact, letterpress printed, coptic bound datebook will last you 59 weeks. And to get the most out of it, the dates are left blank for you. Start it in the middle of November, toss it aside over Christmas and pick it back up where you left off in January. Or start it in June.
Each measures 4 1/8" x 6", and is made with upcycled vintage book covers. They are hand bound with coptic binding. Inside, you will find 59 letterpress printed weeks with many random images ranging from owls to bikes to typewriters. Each week lists the days Monday through Sunday with extra room for notes & lists. The 100% recycled pages were printed with hand set type as well as photopolymer plates. There are 12 blank pages in the back (great for sketching or writing) and an original pocket inside the back cover with check out card. The covers have been left with all nicks, stains, old tape, marks, as found. It fits perfectly in a purse or knapsack.
You can see a few samples below or view them all here.
