Hello
from Tokyo! Autumn is here and Tokyo is looking very pretty! Earlier
this month I visited Uguisu The Little Shoppe on their grand
opening day. For those of you who are into Japanese paper crafts and
zakka, you may be familiar with the Uguisu online store. They have
been offering Japanese
goods
to fans around the world since 2009. I was delighted to
hear that they were
opening a physical shop in Tokyo. Located in
Azabudai,
in the heart of the
city, Uguisu The Little Shoppe offers a selection of fine quality Japanese
paper items, stationery, kitchen linen, tableware
and
houseware, carefully
handpicked by the owner, Hiki. The
vintage apartment that the shop is in adds an extra dash
of charm
to this cute weekend shop. Be sure to add this to one of your "to
visit" list
when in
Tokyo!
Lovely owner, Hiki in her cute shop.
And here are some of the wonderful products that you can find in the shop:
Aizu-Momen Tote bag.
Envelopes and rubber stamps by Mihoko Seki.
Colorful onion skin paper stickers!
A wide selection of products from Fog Linen Work.
Beautiful handmade necklaces by Emily green.
Japanese Washi Masking Tapes!

I can imagine a visit to this little shop is not just shopping but a wonderful 'experience' everything is a delight to the senses.
This looks like a little bit of artisan heaven! I am gradually falling for everything Japanese, I have some friends from Tokyo and Osaka that live in the UK now and they are always saying I must visit Japan. Lovely photographs x
